many stops - steps project

23/3/2020-17/5/2020

Many Stops project was the transformation of the One Stop project and the emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic and confinement. he restrictive measures and the curfew imposed by the Greek State hindered our gathering at the square. As a result, the Steps’ team organized and coordinated this new project in order to approach street connected people and people living in precarious conditions, on the spots where they already were.

Always, supported by and based on the collective effort of groups and individuals (that cooked from their homes) we managed to provide complete daily meals (main course, bottled water, salad, fruit, dessert) and basic, necessary personal hygiene products (gloves, masks, antiseptics) on a daily basis to the most vulnerable populations.

The groups that supported this project were:

KHORA, Mano Aperta, Medical Volunteers International e.V., Help Refugees, HumanRights360, Pampiraiki, Hope Café, SOS Refugiados, Rakor Restaurant, Asteras Exarchia, Tsioka Bakeries
